I think I'm feeling a bit of a bug. Hmm.

So anyway, here's how the Art Talk 101 held at Ronac Art Center went.
They handed to us a press kit which contained materials about the ManilArt |
So when it began, we were told about what the event would entail and what we were there for.. |
Our emcee was so good! He also emcee'd last night during the opening of ManilArt (more about it soon!) |
Our first speaker for the night was Robbie. He owns the Fatima Gallery. He was so enthusiastic about his love of paintings! |
Here's a close-up of the Cacnio piece that he loves! Its called "Pagmamano" :) |
Soon after, another gallery owner gave us a brief insight on what usually happens when you collect paintings as a hobby and as a gallery owner.
After, an artist couple showed us how they make portraits of animals and people out of crayons and sandpaper.
The husband drew while, the wife discussed.
What a pretty drawing right? After they finished discussing, we were asked to make portraits of ourselves. While we were at it, we were told about the schedule of the event and that each of us were going to receive a painting upon submission of our tickets, when we drop by NBC Tent. :) I already got my painting last night. It looks lovely! Even my Dad said it was a good choice. :)
Here's how mine and Tats' drawings went! The painting behind us doesn't really help our dignity though.haha
Toodles!
