This past week and the incoming week will and has been such crazy weeks for me! With the impacted 3rd molar on my right cheek (finally) surgically removed yesterday morning and daily duties piling up like a mountain, I've been blessed to have been able to go out with my college friends last weekend to celebrate Kat's birthday and to simply have a blast. :)
Here are some photos from that night:
First stop: Dinner at TJ's Tijuana's in Ortigas
the unlimited supply of mojito's and margarita's were the bomb!
Teshie, Kat, Jaz
Jazzie, Hannah and I
(Where is the solo shot of Tats????)
Next stop: Manor Superclub, Eastwood
So okay, though were were originally supposed to head to Dolce after dinner, we decided to go to Manor as we were in the mood to reminisce. :) Manor has always been our constant and automatic club destination ever since so it's where we instantly thought of going, after a million years of not clubbing.haha

Here are our photos with the birthday celebrant!

There are so many ways for one to bring out their hidden glamorous, old world selves. With vintage pieces being sold here and there, coming in various prize ranges and sizes, finding the right pieces is as easy as one. Two. Three.
Inspired by the Beatles and Yoko Ono? Go for round-shaped sunglasses!
Another idea is to opt for unusual details that come in formal cuts, just like the dress below. :)
And because our Grandma's felt the hollywood glitz and classicism way before we even tried to emulate them now, the way they used to present themselves is something we should commend them for.
Also, for a light look with a punch of color, try the idea above. Going for only one bold color (a definitely not too shocking one) against black, white and gold is one sure dose of positive threat.

Received an invite today to an event that will occur during the Brown Bag Vintage and Crafts Market (more about it in my next post) on the 9th of December 2011. :)
To be held at the Filipinas Heritage Library in Makati, the event is less than 5 minutes away from where I work. How perfect!
See you there!
Currently pledged myself to a sabbatical away from certain things, work none the less but that aspect will have to experience some delay....
